Can-abujon is derived from a man who used to live in the barrio many years ago. According to several witnesses, his body was "abujon" or grayish. So from that time onwards, the place has been called Can-abujon. 

A sitio in Can-abujon is called Dulhugon. This place is situated on the side of a hill, which explains why it is so named. In going to other barrios, one has to pass through Dulhogon. The place is now abandoned because the people have migrated to Mindanao.
